Due to having breast implants Brian is away this week. The only replacement we
could find was the analy retentive Mark. (don't know what it means but it
seemed to fit).
16:20 at work & I've lost the plot completely. "Nay", I hear you say. "You
always prattle on like this".
Well I can assure you this is a different kind of prattling on. Or should that
be prattaling or prattiling? See.
Why? 'Cause Simon (english ultimate player & best mate) and I were up late last
night watching The Game. Movie with Michael Douglas and Sean Penn. Not bad. A
tad predictable though.
Life is trucking along well. Travel plans are coming together. Stockholm is
choice. Sandra (friend from Aussie) has managed to score us 3 nights
accomodation in a 5-star hotel for, get this, NZ$150. O' life is soooo hard
over here.
Off to Torquay for my last netball tournament. 100 womens teams & 1 guys team.
Hmmm....
Off to see my NZ cousin Anna in Manchester next month. Will be cool to see her
again. My other cousin Annika will be in London from Sweden - oh boy, oh boy.
Could be in Dublin to see the All Black "do" Ireland. Then a weekend away with
Sue.
6 Dec = NZ v England in netball in Brighton. OK OK. Brighton is a hole but we
plan to travel there only for the game. Will stay at Arundel overnight (West
Sussex - checked that on a map. I still have no idea about this English county
stuff). Should be lovely & a castle to spot nearby "Lower the gate!".
wow. Big 30th birthday. Will spend this in Marbella Spain. Can't wait. Sue is
organising the lot & all I need to do is turn up and enjoy myself. Easy peasy.
Better go. I do actually get paid to work. Pretty novel concept in this
country.
